This is one of my favorite poems, written by Emily Dickinson.

My last poem from earlier this year for now. It was written after I became annoyed with studying poetry in English because when you do poems for High School school you usually have to do them in a particular form, or even worse a particular subject, which detracts from the whole point of this type of art.

This poem is not one of more recent poems (as in, written this month) I'm posting it first. This is a poem inspired by His Dark Materials: The Amber Spyglass, you won't know what I'm talking about it if you haven't read the book. It's quite short and in sentences.

A million elementary particles floating in an endless space. Forever falling in the darkness, lost without the light. Anything but eternity.
